Did Rajat Bedi take DIG at Hrithik’s ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ in new ad?

Did Rajat Bedi take multiple digs at Hrithik Roshan's 'Koi Mil Gaya' in his latest ad? says, 'There's still time to reach your prime'

In a cheeky new advertisement, Rajat Bedi, famed for his performance in ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywoods’, seems to be playfully poking fun at ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. The spot features him embodying a menacing villain striving to attain the title of ‘ultimate villain’, cleverly alluding to extraterrestrials, aversion to sunlight, and a quirky character named ‘Neela Khajur’, echoing the beloved Jadoo.

Rajat Bedi, who came back in the limelight with Aryan Khan’s ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywoods’, has shared multiple times that he was sidelined from the publicity of Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. And now, it seems the actor has taken back-to-back digs at the movie in his latest commercial. Bedi shot an ad for a streaming giant in which he talks about villain arcs, and it included references to the Hrithik Roshan starrer. Let’s take a look.

Is Rajat Bedi mocking Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ in his latest ad?

The video opens with Rajat Bedi seated in an office, asking, “Pehchana? (Recognised me?).” It is then revealed that the actor has visited a villain-arc therapist named Anubhavi.Bedi goes on to say that his New Year’s resolution was to become the ultimate villain. However, after reading news about aliens taking over the Earth in 2026, his plans seem to have fallen apart. For the uninitiated, back in September 2025, Rakesh Roshan had announced that the production of ‘Krrish 4’ would begin in mid-2026.In another scene, Bedi is seen shielding himself from sunlight while muttering, “Dhoop, dhoop,” following which the therapist offers him a solution to deal with his predicament.Post therapy, on what is termed “judgement day,” a mysterious character enters the office—hopping and trapped inside a sack. The character is introduced as “Neela Khajur,” a dhoop enthusiast—an indirect nod to Jadoo being carried in a sack in ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. Bedi then kicks the sack, sending it flying into outer space. The commercial concludes with Rajat Bedi saying, “It doesn’t matter ki season shuru kaise hua; what matters is ki season khatam kaise karoge. (It doesn’t matter how the season started; what matters is how you end it). So sweetheart, there’s still time to reach your prime.”By now, most viewers would have guessed it—the commercial was for Amazon Prime Video.

More about Rajat Bedi’s statement on ‘Koi Mil Gaya’

Speaking at the Khajuraho International Film Festival (KIFF), Rajat Bedi had earlier said, “‘Koi Mil Gaya’ became a blockbuster and was promoted extensively with Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, and Rakesh Roshan. I was left out of the publicity, but even today, people recognise me and love me for that role. I can’t take that away. It was wonderful working with Rakesh ji—he is one of the best directors I’ve worked with.” Go to Source
