Breaking News: Ajit Pawar Dies in Baramati Plane Crash, All Five Onboard Killed in Tragic Accident

A tragic aviation accident in Maharashtra’s Baramati has claimed the life of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar along with four others after a chartered aircraft crashed just minutes before landing at Baramati airport. According to official and police inputs, the aircraft was carrying a total of five people, including Ajit Pawar, his personal security officer, his advisor, and two crew members — the pilot and co-pilot. All five onboard lost their lives in the crash. The aircraft had taken off from Mumbai and was approaching Baramati when it went down near the airport perimeter. Visuals from the crash site show the front portion of the aircraft completely destroyed, with fire breaking out immediately after impact. Only a part of the rear tail section of the aircraft remained intact, indicating the severity of the crash. Emergency teams rushed to the site, and bodies were recovered from the wreckage and shifted to hospital for formal identification procedures. Aviation authorities have confirmed the fatalities, while the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau is expected to conduct a detailed probe to determine the cause of the crash. The sudden demise of Ajit Pawar has plunged Maharashtra’s political circles and the Pawar family into deep mourning, with leaders and relatives rushing to Mumbai and Baramati as the nation grieves an unexpected loss.
