Breaking News: Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Criticizes Yogi, Backs Keshav Prasad Maurya

Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand has made a strong statement regarding the political leadership in Uttar Pradesh. He criticized Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, comparing his governance style to the oppressive rule of the Mughals, and expressed dissatisfaction with the current administration’s handling of public issues, including religious events and protection of cows. Swami Avimukteshwaranand described CM Yogi as hot-tempered, authoritarian, and focused on aggressive measures like bulldozer politics, which he claims undermines democratic principles and public trust. On the other hand, Swami Avimukteshwaranand praised Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, suggesting that he would make a better leader for Uttar Pradesh. According to the Shankaracharya, Maurya shows understanding of situations, takes corrective action when mistakes happen, and demonstrates concern for public welfare, unlike the current CM. Swami Avimukteshwaranand ongoing journey, focused on the protection of the Ganga and cow welfare, continues amidst his criticism of the government. He links his activism to historical efforts by Shankaracharyas who challenged oppression and urges renewed leadership that respects religious and cultural traditions while ensuring justice and fair governance for all citizens.
