Kuwait Airways is gearing up for a busy summer travel season by expanding its international network and pairing the move with a limited-time fare incentive, aiming to meet rising demand while offering passengers more choice and value.Kuwait Airways announced the addition 11 new destinations as part of its summer 2026 schedule. The new routes include Alexandria, Zurich, Mykonos, Malaga, Sharm El Sheikh, Salalah, Antalya, Trabzon, Sarajevo, Vienna, and Bodrum. The airline said the additions are aligned with its operational plan to diversify its destination network, cater to different traveller preferences, and provide access to a wider range of tourist and cultural cities across Europe, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean.The rollout of the new routes will begin in June 2026 and will take place in phases:

  • June 9: Alexandria
  • June 10: Sharm El Sheikh, Salalah
  • June 12: Zurich
  • June 14: Mykonos
  • June 15: Antalya
  • June 16: Trabzon, Sarajevo, Vienna
  • June 17: Bodrum

Malaga has also been confirmed as part of the summer expansion, though the airline did not announce a specific launch date for that route.Alongside the network expansion, the national carrier announced an exclusive 15 percent discount on all economy class flights to and from Kuwait. The offer is available through the airline’s website, mobile application, sales offices, and the 171 call centre, and does not apply to codeshare flights. Bookings can be made from January 22 to February 15, 2026, with travel valid between January 25 and April 30, 2026.Acting Chief Executive Abdulwahab Al-Shatti said the new destinations form part of Kuwait Airways’ strategy to expand and diversify its route network in response to growing summer travel demand. He noted that the approach enhances customer choice while reinforcing the airline’s position as Kuwait’s national carrier. Al-Shatti added that passenger comfort remains a core focus, highlighting the airline’s modern fleet, advanced in-flight entertainment systems, varied onboard menus, and highly trained cabin crews. He said the airline aims to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience from the moment passengers board until they reach their destination.
