Rohit Saraf, Nitanshi Goel, and Rasha Thadani join for the intense love story - Reports

Saiyaara’s blockbuster underscores Bollywood’s thirst for youthful romance, spurring Atul Kasbekar and Tanuj Garg to eye Rohit Saraf, Nitanshi Goel, and Rasha Thadani for a new love saga. Rohit’s Mismatched charm meets Nitanshi’s ‘Laapataa Ladies’ breakout and Rasha’s Azaad debut in fast-moving talks.

Saiyaara’s blockbuster run has driven home a clear message for Bollywood: viewers are hungry for tales of youthful romance. Right on cue, a fresh project is taking shape. As per the report, Atul Kasbekar and Tanuj Garg, the duo behind Neerja (2016), are said to be negotiating with Rohit Saraf, Nitanshi Goel, and Rasha Thadani for a gripping love saga.

Why Rohit Saraf, Nitanshi Goel, and Rasha Thadani approached for a love saga?

According to Mid-day, Rohit has a soft, romantic charm, far from the alpha heroes we see on screen today. His popularity has only increased with Mismatched. Nitanshi and Rasha caught the audience’s attention with their respective maiden Bollywood ventures, ‘Laapataa Ladies’ and ‘Azaad’. The makers felt it would be interesting to bring the trio together in a space that they haven’t explored before. Talks with the actors are reportedly moving forward quickly, though the producers haven’t settled on a director yet.

Rohit Saraf’s laat outing

Rohit Saraf recently appeared as Vikram Singh in ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’. He has also featured in key ventures like ‘Ishq Vishk Rebound’ and ‘Mismatched’.

Nitanshi Goel’s rise post ‘Laapata Ladies’

Nitanshi Goel left a strong mark with her breakout role in ‘Laapataa Ladies’ (2024), which received the Best Debut (Female). She’s reportedly signed on for a fresh venture under producer Ekta Kapoor.

Rasha Thadani’s upcoming project

On the other hand, Rasha Thadani is prepping for ‘Laikey Laikaa’, a romantic-action flick opposite Abhay Verma, billed as an “intense dark romance” slated for Summer 2026. Her formal silver-screen entry was with ‘Azaad’.
