Breaking Alert: Delhi on Maximum Security as Terror Threat Looms on 26 January

As India approaches Republic Day on January 26, security agencies have heightened vigilance across the country. Delhi is on high alert, with police issuing warnings, posting posters of wanted terrorists, and urging citizens to report suspicious activities. Intelligence inputs indicate a terror threat targeting major cities and prominent temples, including Delhi, Ayodhya, and Jammu’s Raghunath Temple. The terror plot, reportedly linked to Pakistan-based groups, has a secret code “2626.” Security forces are conducting drills, surprise checks, and deploying AI-based surveillance for the first time. In Jammu and Kashmir, special operations and extensive patrols have been intensified. Meanwhile, multiple national developments continue: political parties prepare for elections in Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Maharashtra, with BJP and Congress strategizing. The Supreme Court and Election Commission are hearing various petitions related to voter rights, religious disputes, and election regulations. Law enforcement is probing high-profile incidents, including the NEET student death in Bihar, a road accident in Andhra Pradesh, and criminal cases in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Other updates include natural disasters and public safety concerns: forest fires in Sikkim, snow alerts in northern states, and accidents in Mumbai and Andhra Pradesh. In sports, India defeated New Zealand in a T20 match, taking a 1-0 lead in the series
