European lawmakers have moved to freeze work on an EU-US trade deal after US President Donald Trump threatened new tariffs on European countries amid escalating tensions linked to Greenland, Euronews reported. The report said MEPs view the tariff threat as a breach of trust and argued that “business as usual” is no longer possible under the current climate.
