Priyanka Chopra joins the 2016 trend, flexes her major achievement; Fans react, ‘Woman had her best year’

Priyanka Chopra Jonas reminisced about her monumental year in 2016, a period of immense personal and professional growth. She shared highlights including receiving the Padma Shri, her international breakthrough with ‘Quantico’, ‘Baywatch’ filming, and her first American magazine cover. The actress also celebrated her first People’s Choice Award, attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and gracing the Oscars.

Celebrities left and right have been posting lookbacks into what went down in their lives in 2016. In a recent post, famed actress Priyanka Chopra also took to her account to share a series of photos of her milestones in 2016.

Taking to her social media account, Chopra posted a lot of photos and instances from her life in 2016. Adding the caption “The one where everything happened all at once. 2016,” the star shared key moments from her life from 10 years ago. In the first slide, the actress recalled receiving the Padma Shri Award, which, at the time, she had received from then-President Pranab Mukherjee. This photo was followed by a collage from her time at ‘Quantico’ series, which is where she rose to international fame and created a market for herself in the Hollywood industry. Later, she also shared photos with her co-stars from the sets of ‘Baywatch.’ She also shared a photo of herself posing with a magazine cover of herself, citing that it was her first-ever American Magazine cover. In 2016, she also landed her first People’s Choice Award. There were a lot of other firsts for the star that year. This included ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’, having her first White House correspondence dinner with former US President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama, and even attending the Oscars!

Taking a trip back to Bollywood, Chopra added glimpses from her shoot for ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ with her co-stars and production team. She further added selfies of herself dressed up as Kashi from ‘Bajirao Mastani’, with the words ‘My gentle Kashi’ written on them. Some other personal moments from her post included the milestone of adopting her furry dog Angel in 2016. She gave an emotional nod to her late nani, whom she lost the same year.

As soon as the ‘Heads of State’ actress shared a look back on 2016, fans could not contain their excitement. Many shared their love in the comment section of her Instagram, posting heart-eyed emojis. She will next appear in the English-language American action film ‘The Buff’, opposite actor Karl Urban. Other than that, she is also prepping for her best help in the epic drama ‘Varanasi’, which was introduced on a large scale last year and is being helmed by none other than SS Rajamouli.
