Serious concerns are being raised over the safety of the Hindu community in Bangladesh following reports of another killing in Feni district. According to local reports, a Hindu man named Samir Das was shot on the evening of January 11. The attackers allegedly fled the scene after snatching his auto-rickshaw. On the night of January 12, his body was reportedly found in a blood-soaked condition. Claims circulating in local media and on social platforms suggest that eight members of the Hindu community have allegedly been killed in the past 25 days, sparking widespread outrage. Protests have also been reported in India, with demands urging the interim government of Bangladesh to ensure the protection of religious minorities. However, officials are yet to issue a detailed statement, and the exact circumstances surrounding these incidents remain under investigation.
