On January 6, 2026, Bollywood made headlines with a series of gripping developments. From Daisy Shah slamming election campaigners and Shraddha Kapoor’s witty response to a wedding question, to Babil Khan sharing a heartfelt throwback with his late father Irrfan Khan, and Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal revealing their baby boy’s name, here’s a look at the top entertainment stories of the day.

Daisy Shah’s fiery outrage

Daisy Shah took to social media to express her anger and distress after a fire broke out at a house in Mumbai’s Bandra East area, allegedly caused by election campaigners bursting crackers. The incident reportedly occurred late at night while the actress was walking her dog near her residence. She claimed that those responsible fled the spot immediately after the fire. Sharing a video of the incident, Daisy wrote, “I have got nothing to do with any political party, but when you hire teams to run campaigns for your elections, please make sure they have some common sense. Thankfully, our building committee refused their entry for door-to-door campaigning. Bursting crackers next to buildings is not the way to go about it. This is what happens when people lack civic sense. It isn’t a natural calamity; it’s caused by brainless people. Take accountability—it’s high time. I sincerely hope people understand the serious danger of bursting crackers roadside. Seeing this happen right in front of my eyes was scary.”

Ai Images Of Katrina Kaif & Vicky Kaushal With Their Newborn Son Goes Viral!

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal’s joyful news

Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal welcomed their baby boy on November 7 and initially chose to keep his name private. Two months later, the couple shared the name in a heartfelt joint post, writing, “Our ray of light Vihaan Kaushal. विहान कौशल. Prayers are answered. Life is beautiful. Our world has changed in an instant. Gratitude beyond words .”

Shraddha Kapoor’s witty reply

Shraddha Kapoor continues to charm fans with her quick wit and humour. During a recent interaction with followers, the actress responded to questions about her wedding plans. While promoting her jewellery collection, she also joked about data suggesting a rise in break-ups around Valentine’s Day. When a fan asked, “Shaadi kab karoge @shraddhakapoor ji?” (When will you get married, Shraddha ji?), the actress responded playfully, “Main karoongi, you vivah karoongi (I will get married).”

Babil Khan’s heartfelt tribute

Babil Khan shared a touching post in memory of his late father Irrfan Khan on the legendary actor’s birth anniversary. Posting childhood photographs, Babil wrote, “Pictures of you. Pictures of me. (I used to say ‘sofa mode activated’ before I jumped on him and fell asleep on his back).” One of the photos shows Irrfan lying on his stomach on a striped mat, with young Babil resting on his back, surrounded by pillows. Babil also shared a video captioned, “Eloquent eyes of his silent righteousness Remembering Irrfan on his birth anniversary .”

Sreeleela opens up about her family

Actress Sreeleela, who was just 21 in 2022, adopted two children with special needs—Guru and Shobhitha—from an orphanage. She later welcomed a baby girl into her family last year. Speaking to Galatta Plus about balancing her successful film career at 24 with motherhood, Sreeleela revealed that the children currently live separately under professional care. She said, “I fall short of words and get jittery when I talk about it. But it’s taken care of. I’m not a ‘mother mother’ because there’s an entirely different story to that. It was during a film I did early in my career in Kannada (Kiss, 2019) that my director took me to an ashram. The kids live there. We speak on the phone, and I keep visiting them. It was a secret for the longest time. The institution wanted me to talk about it so that more people are encouraged. I don’t want credit for anything—I just want people to start looking in that direction.” Go to Source
