Ranveer treats Deepika to Indian food ahead of birthday – PICS

It’s Deepika Padukone’s birthday today and her hubby, Ranveer Singh seemed to have got the celebrations started by treating her to something homely while holidaying in New York City. Ranveer reportedly added a homely touch to their celebrations by treating the birthday girl to a comforting Indian meal, ahead of her birthday. The star couple was spotted dining at Annapurna Bhavan in Hell’s Kitchen, Times Square, a popular restaurant known for its authentic Indian vegetarian cuisine.

Photos shared online showed Deepika hugging her man as they posed with the restaurant staff after their meal. The couple also signed the restaurant’s menu card, much to the delight of the team, who proudly showed it off on their social media handle. Sharing the pictures on social media, the restaurant wrote, “It was a pleasure serving Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh today. Thank you for the ‘loads of love’ and for being such wonderful guests. Our kitchen is still buzzing from the excitement!”

The photos come shortly after fans took to their handles to post photos from the actress’ pre-birthday celebrations in Mumbai. Deepika hosted an intimate celebration for her fans, where she got candid about life, motherhood and even opened up about her films and other upcoming projects.

On the work front, Ranveer has been riding high on the success of ‘Dhurandhar’, which has crossed the Rs 1,200 crore mark at the box office. The sequel of the film is expected to arrive in March.
