Built by Dutch shipyard Oceanco, the 110-metre vessel is estimated to be worth around $300 million and accommodates up to 30 guests across 15 suites.Originally commissioned for Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Abdullah bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani, the yacht features extensive marble finishes, Iranian white onyx, Golden Spider stone, a swimming pool, spa pool, helipad, cinema, aquarium and a spa. One of its most distinctive spaces is The London Bar, complete with smoke machines, a DJ booth and a water-wall chandelier.
A yacht that became a target
Unlike the privacy of Waggoner Ranch, Kaos has often found itself in the public eye.In July 2023, climate activists spray-painted the yacht while it was docked in Barcelona, leaving the message, “You consume, others suffer.”Less than two months later, in September 2023, activists targeted the vessel again using biodegradable red paint and displaying a banner reading, “Billionaires should not exist.”The incidents appear to have changed how the yacht operates.According to Málaga Hoy, when Kaos later returned to Málaga, its name had been covered and a private security guard was stationed on the dock to protect the vessel.The yacht has continued to visit Spain, often accompanied by its 67-metre support vessel, Kalm, which carries tenders, equipment, supplies and additional crew.MarineTraffic data shows Kaos remains a regular visitor to Málaga, an important stop for many large yachts preparing to leave the Mediterranean before crossing the Atlantic to the Caribbean.
