Delhi Winter: Yellow Alert Issued as Smog and Fog Reduce Visibility in Delhi-NCR

Delhi-NCR woke up to a thick blanket of smog and dense fog on December 28, causing inconvenience to commuters and reducing visibility across the region. The weather department had already issued a yellow alert, warning residents to stay cautious. Since early morning, poor air quality combined with fog has affected road and rail traffic in several areas. However, according to the Meteorological Department, this spell of harsh weather conditions is expected to last only till today. From tomorrow, weather conditions are likely to improve, with clearer skies and better visibility predicted. Authorities have advised people, especially children and the elderly, to take necessary precautions. Further updates on air quality and weather conditions are awaited.
