Breaking News: LVM3 Successfully Launches Commercial Satellite, Showcasing India’s Space Confidence

India marked another defining moment in its space journey as the LVM3 rocket achieved a flawless liftoff from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The launch sequence began smoothly with the swing-out of the cryogenic arms and activation of the acoustic separation system. At zero second, both S200 solid rocket motors ignited, delivering a majestic liftoff as the vehicle soared through the clear Sriharikota sky. Each S200 motor generated an impressive thrust of 5,952 kilonewtons with a burn duration of 132.5 seconds, ensuring a stable and powerful ascent. Within seconds of launch, the mission entered main auto mode, confirming normal functioning of onboard systems. At 111 seconds into the flight, officials confirmed successful progression into the next phase, reinforcing mission confidence. The LVM3 is carrying a commercial communication satellite developed to strengthen space-based mobile and communication services. Executed through Antrix, ISRO’s commercial arm, the mission reflects India’s growing credibility in the global space business ecosystem. This launch is more than the deployment of a single satellite. It symbolizes India’s rising self-confidence and its transition from a space follower to a potential global space business leader. With repeated successful missions, India continues to demonstrate reliability, technological strength, and ambition in the competitive commercial space market.
