'Avengers Doomsday' teaser: After multiple leaks and a theatrical trailer, Marvel officially announces 'Steve Rogers Will Return' to the MCU; fans REACT

Excitement is soaring for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ as a teaser confirms the return of original Captain America, Steve Rogers, played by Chris Evans. Fans are ecstatic about this decade-long comeback. The film, slated for December 2026, will also feature Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom and introduce X-Men and Fantastic Four.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is one of the most anticipated movies of the upcoming year, 2026. And to level up the excitement, the makers have dropped one teaser of the film. And not just that, they made a big reveal in this short glimpse. Coming straight to the point—the original Captain America, Steve Rogers, is set to return with this movie. This has left the MCU fans losing their minds, as Chris Evans will be making a comeback after almost a decade.

Steve Rogers is back

The teaser opens with a bike rider arriving at a home. Then we see his hand keeping the helmet on the vehicle and leaving the Captain America jacket outside the house. In the next scene, we see a man holding a baby in his arms until the face reveal. In the end, the short teaser showcased that the man is none other than Steve Rogers. The makers then announce officially, “Steve Rogers Will Return In Avengers: Doomsday.” Take a look at the video.

Internet reacts to the reveal

Soon, the Marvel Cinematic Universe fans went berserk, and nostalgia took over them after seeing Chris Evans returning to the franchise. A person wrote, “This is what we were waiting for.” Another one added, “Assemble Avengers…Only Old Avengers can Save MCU.” A comment read, “I watch Marvel because of Steve Rogers and Tony Stark.” Some fans even questioned the return of the OGs in the franchise. He commented, “So his heartfelt goodbye and happy ending in Endgame was for nothing.” A comment that caught our attention was, “My world is healing… my hero is back!”
