Agnes, known affectionately as the Epic Gamer Grandma, has sadly passed away aged 78 years old. This has been confirmed by her grandson, Culsan, on an Instagram post that she passed away on the 21st of December, holding the hand of her daughter, Pauline. Culsan has described her death as peaceful, stating, “She left this world the way she lived in it, surrounded by love.” Agnes gained pop culture status on TikTok, where she had gained over 2 million followers for her entertaining videos.Weeks prior to her death, Culsan was giving health updates on her condition. Agnes was hospitalized in October because of her COPD, and this caused her grandson to post a request for prayers and wishes. Later in November, the grandson posted a health update, which was worrisome, as it was “increasingly more likely” she would not return home. In spite of her health conditions, Agnes is remembered as a beloved character in the TikTok community, where she was an inspiration in terms of her courage, optimism, and the way she used her unique character on the platform.
