‘In my heart I knew…’: Andrew Tate breaks silence on why he lost to Chase DeMoor in Dubai boxing match

‘In my heart I knew...’: Andrew Tate breaks silence on why he lost to Chase DeMoor in Dubai boxing match

In a highly publicized boxing match in Dubai, Andrew Tate faced off against Chase DeMoor but ultimately fell short. Though he started off strong, Tate’s endurance waned, resulting in a majority decision loss. Acknowledging the challenge and his age, he congratulated DeMoor, recognizing him as a formidable champion.

‘Top G’ Andrew Tate lost decisively in his long-awaited boxing debut against Misfits heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor in Dubai, with the American getting the better of the middle-aged fighter. The self-described “alpha male” hastily powered through and said the defeat was necessary as it took courage. Tate made it clear the embarrassing loss was not something he regretted. The 39-year-old influencer and former kickboxing champion returned to the ring after a five-year absence on Saturday at a Dubai stadium. It was meant to be one of Misfits Boxing’s biggest crossover bouts, but the contest ended with DeMoor retaining his title via majority decision following a ‘garbage’ six-round fight, as the viewers were not really satisfied with the outcome of the fight.Shortly after the match, Tate took to X and acknowledged that he is “too old” for such things, but in a narcissistic way, he still bloated about how rich he is and how much better he is than most 40-year-old men.The TopG said: “99.9% of 40 year old men with 700 million dollars sit around with whores. I could have done the same and talked s**t on the Internet and took no risks and just lived easy. In my heart I knew I’m too old. I knew I’d been out too long. However, the self-entitled masculine personality still praised Chase as the oppopnent won fairly: “That’s why I had to do it. To face fear. I can’t live scared. I have to know I faced it. I lost fair and square. Chase is a true champion. A warrior – I’m proud of him. He deserves that belt.”

How the fight unfolded in Dubai

Despite being the defending champion, DeMoor was booed as he made his ring walk, while the old man Tate was cheered by the Dubai crowd. Tate started well, using his jab and targeting the body in the early rounds. However, as rounds went on, stamina took a toll on Tate when DeMoor landed a clean right hand that stunned him.As the fight went on, Tate’s fitness appeared to fade. By the fourth round, DeMoor began to capitalise, landing heavier shots and forcing Tate onto the back foot. An uppercut in the fifth sent Tate to the canvas. A cut soon opened above Tate’s right eye but DeMoor did not stop and unleashed a series of punches against Tate while moving forward.Tate survived to the final bell, but his performance went only downhill after the start. Two judges scored the fight for DeMoor, with one calling it a draw, sealing a majority decision victory for DeMoor.

What Tate said right after the fight

Speaking after the fight, Tate said he gave his best but it was not enough: “Yeah…. 10 years out, 40 years old. I gave it my all, but he was tough. I do not know what to say, but he’s really, really tough. Congratulations to him.”Tate said he will watch the fight again to make a clear decision. “I am going to have to go back and watch the fight again… make a decision, but Chase deserves his win. I am really happy for him.” Tate added, “It’s better to try and lose than to not try at all.”

DeMoor challenges boxing legend Tommy Fury

DeMoor is a former reality television star turned boxer. He celebrated the biggest win of his career and used the moment to call out Tommy Fury. “Everybody who doubted me. All the haters, all the fans… I love you guys all the same. I am just here to do my best and just keep showing that if you show up, anything is possible,” he said.DeMoor called Tate the toughest man in the world: “I just fought the toughest man in the world ‘Mr Top G’ himself and I came out with the victory. That means everything in the world to me. Merry Christmas to everyone and I will see you guys very soon.” He shouted: “Tommy Fury! You beat the CEO… so did I. Bring that a** here.” Go to Source
