Rashmika-Ayushmann’s ‘Thamma’ hits OTT: Where to stream vampire horror comedy

Following an impressive theatrical run where it grossed Rs. 187 crore worldwide, the latest entry in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU), ‘Thamma’, is now available for digital streaming. Amazon Prime Video officially premiered the supernatural thriller on December 16, 2025, dropping a fun promotional reel on its official handle.

‘Thamma,’ the horror comedy featuring vampires and headlining Rashmika Mandanna, Ayushmanna Khurrana and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set for its digital debut, following a theatrical release coinciding with the Diwali festivities on October 21, 2025. The film bagged mixed reviews but cashed in on the holiday release.

Today, the OTT giant, Amazon Prime Video surprised its subscribers by dropping a fun promotional reel on their official Instagram handle, tagging Ayushmann Khurrana. The film is now streaming on this OTT platform allowing audiences who missed it in cinemas to experience the latest chapter in the production house’s horror comedy universe. ‘Thamma’ now joins the rank of previous editions from the universe like ‘Stree’, ‘Stree 2,’ ‘Bhediya’ and ‘Munjya’.

‘Thamma’ has been directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, written by Niren Bhatt, Arun Fulara and Suresh Mathew. The film features Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok, Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Yakshasan. Paresh Rawal, Faisal Malik star in pivotal roles with special appearances by Varun Dhawan as Bhediya and Abhishek Banerjee as Jana from the ‘Stree’ films. The film also features special dance numbers strring Nora Fatehi and Malaika Arora.
