Goa Nightclub Fire: Luthra Brothers’ Passports Suspended as Goa Nightclub Fire Probe Tightens

A major development has surfaced in the Goa nightclub fire case, as the Indian government has suspended the passports of Gaurav and Saurabh Luthra, who have been absconding since 6 December. Acting on Goa Police’s request, the Ministry of External Affairs took this action, and their passports may soon be fully cancelled. Both brothers fled to Thailand soon after the tragic incident. The investigation into the Arpora Romeo Lane nightclub fire has revealed shocking safety violations. According to the FIR, the club had no fire extinguishers, no alarm system, no emergency exit, and no record of a fire audit. A fire show was conducted without precautions, leaving people trapped. So far, six arrests have been made, and the probe continues.
