A major rail disaster was narrowly avoided near Delhi’s Shakur Basti railway station on Wednesday after two coaches of a train derailed shortly after departure.
According to initial information, the train had just left Shakur Basti when two of its coaches suddenly slipped off the tracks. Railway officials confirmed that no injuries or casualties have been reported, and all passengers are safe.
Emergency teams rushed to the spot immediately, and restoration work is underway. The cause of the derailment is yet to be determined.
