On the 25th day of the ongoing war, Tehran was shaken by multiple powerful explosions following reported airstrikes by the United States and Israel. Several parts of the Iranian capital were targeted, causing panic among civilians and visible destruction across the city. The attacks highlight a sharp escalation even as diplomatic claims continue to surface. US President Donald Trump has repeatedly asserted that “very good discussions” with Iran are underway, expressing optimism about a potential agreement and even suggesting Iran may step back from its nuclear ambitions. He also announced a temporary pause on strikes against Iran’s energy infrastructure to allow space for negotiations. However, Iran has firmly rejected these claims, calling them false and accusing the US of narrative manipulation. Tehran insists no direct talks have taken place and has set conditions for peace, including sanctions relief, security guarantees, and compensation for war damages, while protests against the US and Israel intensify across Iran.
