The conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate as Iran intensifies missile and drone attacks not only against Israel but also against locations hosting United States military bases across the Gulf region. Reports indicate strikes near the United Arab Emirates, close to the Persian Gulf, and near Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, while Bahrain has also been targeted. Other affected countries include Iraq, Kuwait, and Jordan, many of which host American military facilities. Meanwhile, the White House claims U.S. operations have significantly weakened Iran’s capabilities, saying missile attacks have dropped by about 90% and drone activity by 95%, with thousands of targets destroyed. Former U.S. President Donald Trump also warned of further strikes on Kharg Island, a key hub for Iran’s oil exports. In another development, a drone strike hit an oil refinery in Erbil, causing major explosions. Analysts warn the escalating conflict could threaten regional stability and global energy supplies.
