Riyadh Under Fire: Iranian Ballistic Missiles Strike Major Refinery Near U.S. Air Base

The Middle East war has entered its 20th day, with continuous destruction as the conflict shifts into a full-scale oil and gas battle. Iran has carried out a major retaliatory strike on Saudi Arabia, targeting a refinery in Riyadh with ballistic missiles. The attack triggered massive explosions and intense fires, sending thick black smoke high into the sky. Significant damage was also reported near the Prince Sultan Air Base, a key facility associated with the United States. This escalation follows earlier strikes by Israel and the United States on Iran’s South Pars Gas Field, a crucial pillar of Iran’s economy. In retaliation, Iran first struck Qatar’s Ras Laffan Gas Facility, and has now expanded attacks across multiple Gulf energy sites. The Riyadh refinery strike was highly precise, turning the facility into a massive fire zone, with the blast impact felt kilometers away.
