Middle East conflict: Iran Expands Attacks Across Region as War Enters Day 39

The Middle East conflict has entered its 39th day, with tensions soaring after Donald Trump warned of devastating action against Iran. In response, Iran has intensified its attacks, making it clear it will not bow to threats. A major strike was reported in Erbil, where Iranian drones targeted US military bases, causing explosions and panic. Thick smoke was seen rising across the city as sirens alerted residents. Iran has reiterated that any country hosting US operations could face retaliation. Meanwhile, Iran launched a missile attack on Al Jubail, hitting an industrial zone and triggering massive fires. The conflict has now spread deeper into the Gulf region. On another front, Hezbollah used FPV drones to destroy Israeli Merkava tank units, marking a significant battlefield development. In retaliation, Israel Defense Forces launched fresh airstrikes in Lebanon, targeting Hezbollah bases. With continuous strikes and counterstrikes, the conflict is rapidly expanding, raising fears of a wider regional war.
