GLOBAL CRISIS: Trump Team Faces Impeachment Heat as Iran War Escalates to Civil Targets

A major political and military crisis is unfolding as internal divisions shake the administration of Donald Trump amid the escalating conflict with Iran. In a dramatic development, Democrats in the U.S. House have announced plans to initiate impeachment proceedings against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, signaling deep domestic opposition to the ongoing war strategy. The move comes as tensions intensify both on the battlefield and within Washington. Reports suggest growing disagreement inside the Pentagon over proposed military targets, many of which include civilian infrastructure such as railways, power plants, dams, and communication systems. Military officials are said to be concerned about potential violations of international law, as such strikes could severely impact civilian populations. On the ground, the conflict is rapidly expanding beyond traditional military targets. Warnings have reportedly been issued regarding possible strikes on railway networks inside Iran, with civilians advised to avoid travel routes and critical infrastructure zones. This marks a dangerous shift toward civilian-linked targets, increasing the risk of humanitarian disaster. Meanwhile, Iran has intensified its retaliation, launching missile and drone attacks across the region, targeting U.S. bases and allied territories, including Israel and Saudi Arabia. Fires, explosions, and widespread damage have been reported, further destabilizing the region. As global concerns mount, the combination of external conflict and internal political turmoil in the United States is raising fears of a prolonged and more destructive confrontation.
