BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman landed in Dhaka on Thursday with his wife and daughter, ending 17 years in exile in London. Soon after his homecoming, Rahman addressed a rally in the capital, where he quoted Martin Luther King Jr. and appealed for peace and restraint in Bangladesh.

After the rally, Rahman is expected to visit his mother, former prime minister Khaleda Zia, sources said.
