A wave of powerful explosions across six cities in Iran has intensified regional tensions, with reports confirming at least five fatalities and fourteen injuries. The blasts, which occurred amid already strained relations in the Middle East, have not been claimed by any group so far. Both the United States and Israel have categorically denied any involvement, stating they had no role in the attacks. In response to recent threats attributed to former US President Donald Trump, Iran’s Army Chief, Major General Amir Hatami, issued a strong warning, asserting that Iran’s forces remain on high alert and ready to respond to any aggression. He cautioned Washington against making what he termed a “serious mistake,” emphasizing that enemy movements are under constant surveillance. Meanwhile, a leading American newspaper has claimed that the US military has presented multiple strike options on Iran to Donald Trump, suggesting preparations for a potential attack. Although no official confirmation has been issued, the report has further fueled uncertainty and concern. With responsibility for the explosions still unclear, fears of a broader escalation continue to grow.
