Breaking News: Iran Attacks US Base in Bahrain as War of Missiles and Words Intensifies

The conflict in the Middle East has further escalated as Iran reportedly launched missile and drone attacks on a US military base in Bahrain. The strikes targeted the area of Juffair, where the headquarters of the United States Fifth Fleet is located. According to Iranian claims, the attack caused major damage and fires at the base, with visuals showing flames and explosions in the area. Bahrain, a small Gulf nation located across the Persian Gulf from Iran, has become a key frontline location because it hosts major American naval facilities. Reports suggest that Iran initially used drones in earlier attacks but later deployed missiles to directly target US military installations. Meanwhile, tensions have also escalated through strong statements from both sides. Pete Hegseth, the US Defense Secretary, warned that anyone threatening the lives of Americans would face severe consequences. At the same time, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, rejected calls for surrender made by Donald Trump, stating that Iran is prepared for a long war and will not bow to pressure.
