A major escalation has been reported in the ongoing conflict as Iran allegedly launched a rocket attack on a United States military air base in Iraq. According to emerging reports, rockets targeted the American air base and images and videos of the attack have reportedly been released. Analysts say the release of visuals is part of psychological and information warfare aimed at demonstrating Iran’s ability to strike U.S. installations across the region. Iran has also claimed that it possesses next-generation advanced missiles and has released videos showcasing its missile capabilities. These messages are being seen as attempts to strengthen deterrence and influence public perception during the conflict. Meanwhile, Israel has continued strikes on Iranian energy infrastructure. Reports indicate that four Iranian civilians, identified as tanker truck drivers, were killed during attacks on oil storage facilities. Footage from the strikes shows massive fires and thick smoke rising from oil depots, with flames spreading across large areas. Experts warn that targeting oil infrastructure could disrupt global crude supply and potentially affect international energy markets. In a significant political development inside Iran, senior Shiite cleric Ayatollah Mohammad Mehdi Mirbagheri has reportedly emerged as a possible candidate for the country’s next supreme leader. Sources suggest members of the Assembly of Experts may be reaching consensus on his name. Earlier speculation had focused on Mojtaba Khamenei, but attention has now shifted toward Mirbagheri.
