Breaking: Mass Protests Intensify in PoK as Allegations of Military Crackdown and Supply Blockade Surface

Tensions continue to escalate in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), with reports alleging a harsh crackdown by Pakistani security forces on protesters demanding basic rights and reforms. According to the claims, large-scale demonstrations are underway in areas including Rawalakot, Muzaffarabad, and Mirpur, with thousands of people participating despite security action. The report alleges that security personnel opened fire on unarmed protesters, resulting in dozens of casualties, while a guest house in Rawalakot linked to protest leaders was reportedly targeted. Bullet marks visible on the building have been cited as evidence of the alleged operation. It is also claimed that authorities have restricted internet access and blocked the movement of essential supplies such as flour, pulses, and vegetables into parts of PoK, raising concerns over humanitarian conditions. Meanwhile, India raised the issue at the United Nations, accusing Pakistan of decades of illegal occupation, demographic changes, and suppressing the rights and freedoms of people in the region.
