Tensions between the United States and Iran have escalated once again as Iran issued a strong warning regarding its nuclear program. Ibrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Foreign Policy and National Security Committee of the Iranian Parliament, stated that Iran has made no commitments to the United States on nuclear issues. He emphasized that Tehran is unwilling to accept pressure or restrictions imposed by Washington. Rezaei warned that the United States now faces a choice between diplomacy and confrontation. According to his statement, America can either engage with Iranian diplomats or face the consequences of Iran’s military capabilities, including its missile arsenal. The remarks signal Iran’s firm stance against what it views as external pressure. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump defended the proposed agreement with Iran, stating that it clearly prevents Iran from possessing nuclear weapons. Trump said the deal focuses heavily on nuclear-related issues and includes detailed provisions on the subject. His comments came after reports claimed that nuclear matters were not adequately addressed in the agreement.
