18 Killed As Russia Launches Second-Biggest Air Assault Of Ukraine War On Kyiv: VIDEO

At least 18 people were killed as Kyiv was rocked by overnight explosions, with Russia launching its second-biggest aerial attack since its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Four children were among those killed in the assault, according to officials.

The attack inflicted heavy damage to buildings, including those belonging to the European Union and the British Council, prompting the EU and the United Kingdom to summon the top Russian diplomats in their capitals.

Two children aged 17 and 14 were among the deceased, said Tymur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, reported CNN.

According to Ukraine’s air force, the Kremlin unleashed 629 air attack weapons on the country overnight, including 598 drones and 31 missiles.
