Finding a diet that genuinely works amidst a sea of conflicting advice and fleeting trends can be overwhelming. Many people struggle to maintain consistency, often jumping from one fad to another without seeing results. However, nutritionist and weight loss expert Richa Gangani recently revealed a tech-driven approach that transformed her own health and physique in just three weeks. According to Richa, she managed to shed 7 kg and lose 2 inches from her waist in only 21 days by following what she calls her “AI diet.”

In an Instagram post on October 5, Richa explained how this method helped her make smarter choices about what to eat and when to eat, while remaining consistent even with a busy schedule. She admitted, “I still can’t believe that I have dropped 7 kg and massive inches from my belly in just 21 days by making simple changes without doing any crash diets or hours of cardio at the gym. I know so many of you are struggling with the same.”

The 18-10-8-4-1 Method: Richa’s Signature Approach to Weight Loss

Richa highlighted that the results were not achieved through extreme restriction or punishing exercise routines, but through what she refers to as her 18-10-8-4-1 method, a structured yet flexible plan. She told her followers that she would guide them step by step, just as she followed the method herself: “I’ll be guiding you step-by-step, just like I did when I lost 7 kgs in 21 days using my signature 18-10-8-4-1 Method.”

The AI diet combines intermittent fasting, targeted nutrition, hydration, movement and recovery in a holistic way. Richa shared that she practiced 18 hours of intermittent fasting, restricting her eating window to 11 AM – 5/6 PM, which allowed her metabolism to reset and fat-burning processes to kick in naturally. She also emphasised the importance of daily movement, ensuring she took 10,000 steps every day without excuses, a habit she credits for consistency and gradual fat loss.

Sleep for Fat Loss: Why 8 Hours of Deep Rest is Non-Negotiabe

Sleep, she notes, plays an equally vital role. “Trust me, your body burns fat while you rest,” Richa explained, stressing that 8 hours of deep, uninterrupted sleep is key for both weight management and overall wellness. Hydration was another cornerstone of her approach, with 4 litres of water daily, including anti-inflammatory teas, helping to reduce bloating and improve skin clarity.

Beyond Weight Loss: Energy, Hormone Balance and Mental Clarity Benefits

Protein intake was non-negotiable in her plan. She recommended 1 gram of protein per kilogram of body weight to preserve muscle mass and improve body tone. Her mornings began with a small but strategic ritual: starting the day with 1 teaspoon of MCT oil and anti-inflammatory ice cubes on an empty stomach to activate fat metabolism and reduce inflammation.

Richa noted that the benefits extended far beyond weight loss. She shared that her skin began glowing, bloating disappeared and her energy levels skyrocketed. The AI diet, she explained, also helped with reducing inflammation, balancing hormones and enhancing mental clarity, making it a holistic wellness strategy rather than a mere fat-loss plan.
