Sonali Bendre made her grand return to television as the host of Pati Patni Aur Panga. The popular reality show features games and wild challenges for the couple that test the strength of their bonds. And amongst the couples is Avika Gor and Milind Chandwan, who tied the knot on the set of the show on September 30.

For the wedding day, Sonali Bendre draped an exquisite Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla saree. “Sonali Bendre is wearing a flowy, beautiful sari in an olive green shade. Its surface is intricately highlighted with square gold and silver tikki,” Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla told Vogue India.

Sonali Bendre’s Look At Avika Gor and Milind Chandwan’s Wedding

Sonali’s olive green saree beautifully combined tradition with contemporary flair.  The saree features square gold and silver tikki. Rooted in the craft traditions of Gujarat and Rajasthan, tikki work, also known as mukaish or badla, dates back centuries. This technique involves artisans hand-hammering fine metallic foils into delicate motifs on the fabric. Its hallmark lies in the subtle shimmer that reflects light without diminishing the fabric’s natural grace. In Sonali’s saree, the geometric and floral motifs created a constellation-like sparkle across the olive base, and the striking red and gold border just enhanced the beauty of her saree.

She paired the saree with a statement blouse that perfectly complements the saree’s ornate details. It took 127 hours to craft the saree and blouse, a duration that reflects the artisans’ mastery and meticulous patience in placing each tikki with perfect symmetry.

Hair, Look, And Accessories

Sonali accessorised her look with a jaw-dropping statement necklace, matching chandbali earrings, and a ring from Maya Sanghavi Jewels. The jewelleries were encrusted with uncut diamonds, pearls, and emerald beads.

She left her hair open and styled it in soft waves. For makeup, she opted for a soft glam look featuring smokey eyes, nude lips, and a touch of shimmer, making it perfect for wedding celebrations or festive occasions.

Sonali Bendre’s ensemble is yet another reminder of why she remains one of the most graceful and enduring style icons in the Indian entertainment industry.
