A young woman from Sri Ganganagar district in Rajasthan has captured national attention by winning the title of Miss Universe India 2026. Born in Sri Ganganagar, she is currently pursuing her college education in Delhi. The judges of Miss Universe India 2025 were impressed not only by her beauty but also by her confidence and eloquence. Her name is Manika Vishwakarma.

Manika Vishwakarma excels academically and is also skilled in dance and painting. She will represent India in the 74th Miss Universe competition, which is set to take place in Thailand this November. The Miss Universe India 2025 winner was crowned by outgoing titleholder Rhea Singha.

Manika Vishwakarma, hailing from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, currently resides in Delhi. She won the title of Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024 and is the Miss Universe India 2025 winner. A final-year student pursuing a graduation in Political Science and Economics, Manika has built an impressive portfolio at a young age. She is also trained in classical dance and is a talented painter, showcasing her versatile skills.

A Remarkably Creative Talent

Manika Vishwakarma, has represented India on international platforms like BIMSTEC Sewocon, organized by the Ministry of External Affairs. Celebrated for her art and creativity, she has been honored by the Lalit Kala Academy and JJ School of Arts. Manika is also deeply involved in social work, having founded ‘Neuronova,’ a platform to raise awareness about neurodivergence and conditions like ADHD.

This Answer Earned Her Accolades

During the final round of the Miss Universe India 2025 competition, Manika was asked a decisive question: “If you have to choose between women’s education and financial help to poor families, which one will you give priority to and why? Also, how will you answer the arguments raised against it?”

Manika’s winning answer highlighted the interconnectedness of education and poverty, stating, “These are two different aspects. Women have been deprived of education, and due to this, poverty is widespread. If I have to choose, I will give priority to women’s education because education not only changes the life of an individual, but it can change the future of the country and the world. Both issues are important, but such steps are more important in the long term.”

Her insightful response and overall performance secured her the prestigious Miss Universe India 2025 title.
