When Bvlgari brought its celebrated Serpenti Infinito exhibition to the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, the spotlight wasn’t just on the Roman house’s iconic jewels. It was also on Isha Ambani, who stepped out in a look that balanced contemporary couture with family heirlooms. Her choice of accessories paid homage to both heritage and modern glamour, making it a fitting reflection for a showcase built on the reinvention of a classic motif.

For the evening, Isha Ambani reached into her mother’s storied collection, wearing a vintage yellow diamond ring that Nita Ambani had purchased in New York more than two decades ago. The piece’s timeless sparkle was paired with a jaw-dropping Serpenti Divine Monsoon necklace in rose gold, set with tanzanites, tourmalines, rubies and diamonds. Styled by Priyanka Kapadia, the look was grounded by a sculptural black gown from Ashi Studio, allowing the jewellery to take centre stage.

Isha was accompanied by her mother, Nita Ambani, who embodied a seamless blend of Indian heritage and Italian luxury. She chose a striking black-and-silver handloom pachrangi saree from Swadesh, detailed with intricate chevron patterns and a Banarasi gold zari border. To bring a vibrant contrast, she paired the drape with a rani pink silk blouse by Manish Malhotra. Her look was elevated with emerald earrings from her personal collection and the highlight of the evening – a rare Bvlgari Serpenti Rainforest bracelet, encrusted with emeralds and diamonds.

Serpenti Infinito: A Global Celebration

The Mumbai chapter marks the third stop of Bvlgari’s Serpenti Infinito showcase, following successful exhibitions in Shanghai and Seoul. Celebrating both the 75th anniversary of the Serpenti and the symbolic Year of the Snake, the Shanghai edition featured 28 works by 19 global artists, including an AI-driven installation by Refik Anadol that transformed the serpent motif into light and movement. In Mumbai, that dialogue between heritage and innovation extended seamlessly into Isha’s look, making it a living example of the exhibition’s spirit.
