Sam Edelman is stepping into the fragrance category with the launch of Duet Eau de Parfum, created in partnership with Parlux Ltd.

Inspired by the creative and romantic partnership of founders Sam and Libby Edelman, Duet is positioned as a fragrance of harmony, duality, and timeless connection.
The scent, developed by Firmenich perfumer Alexandra Monet, features mandarin, grapefruit, and fig at the top, followed by coconut water, gardenia, and cassis at the heart, and anchored by cedarwood, white suede, and musks.
It comes in a bottle that reimagines the silhouette of a ballet slipper in fragrance form. The rose-gold–wrapped bottle, with ribbon-like details and a bow at the toe, nods to the brand’s iconic ballerina flat.
“After 45 years of partnership, we sought to create something authentically true to our brand—an organic expression of the femininity and sensuality that Libby brings to the Sam Edelman universe, translating our personal romance into this new olfactory chapter,” said Sam Edelman, founder and creative director.
“Duet is an intimate new expression of our longstanding dynamic of creator and muse, while also paying homage to the millions of ballet flats we’ve brought to market since introducing the style to America in 1987.”
The fragrance launches with a campaign starring singer, songwriter and actress Charlotte Lawrence as global brand ambassador. The campaign features her track “Ballerina” from her debut album.
“Fragrance is now more than an accessory – it’s an extension of identity,” added Lori Singer, president of Parlux Ltd. “With Duet, we’re offering consumers a scent that feels personal and modern, rooted in the craftsmanship and emotional resonance the Sam Edelman brand is known for.”
