On September 23 in Milan, Custo Barcelona presented its new Spring/Summer 2026 collection called ‘Leave Her Alone’, born from “a profound reflection on the intersection between fashion and self-expression.”

“We want to create exciting garments. Women have enough clothes, we must win them over with emotion,” said the label’s founder Custo Dalmau, speaking to FashionNetwork.com backstage at the runway show. Dalmau said that Custo’s distribution focus for the near future will be e-tail: “It currently accounts for 15% of our total sales, but we want to give it a major boost, also through AI, a truly amazing tool if you know how to use it.”

Going back to the show, the ‘Leave Her Alone’ collection is characterised by items highlighting the coexistence of human beings and nature. Dresses and T-shirts with graphic patterns are the most distinctive garments, enlivened by slogans advocating harmony between mankind and the environment. The designs on the garments feature anthropomorphic animals as companions to human beings, creating an aesthetic balance within a colourful setting.

With its focus on sustainability and creativity, the collection is also a tribute to fashion’s ability to transform and elevate people’s lives through looks that intended to be not only beautiful, but also meaningful and sustainable.

Ultimately, an example of how fashion can be used to broadcast a positive message, inspiring people to find their own freedom and self-expression.
