Roughly 31% of Indian travellers are drawn to destinations known for being affordable, and nearly 23% say they’re influenced by finding the cheapest places to explore. In fact, high travel costs were a major deterrent in 2024, with 32% of respondents stating it was the main reason they took fewer vacations.
