Delhi and the entire National Capital Region (NCR) remained covered under a thick blanket of dense fog and smog today, severely affecting normal life. Since early morning, visuals from various parts of Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad have shown extremely low visibility, with some areas reporting near-zero visibility. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), dense fog conditions are expected to persist for at least the next two hours. The combined impact of air pollution and fog has led to major disruptions in road traffic, while rail and air services have also been affected. Vehicles were seen moving slowly on roads as commuters faced difficulties while heading to offices and workplaces. Areas such as Botanical Garden, Sector 22, and Sector 44 reported particularly poor visibility. Authorities have advised commuters to remain cautious until weather conditions improve.
