Unnao Rape Case: Unnao Rape Survivor to Protest at Jantar Mantar, Warns of Road Sit-In if Stopped

In a major development in the Unnao rape case, the survivor has announced that she will sit on a protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar today against the High Court verdict. Speaking exclusively to ABP News, the survivor said that if she is not allowed to protest at Jantar Mantar, she will stage a sit-in on the road, asserting that demanding justice is her fundamental right. She made it clear that her protest will continue until justice is delivered. The survivor also appealed directly to the Prime Minister for justice. Heavy police and security personnel, including SSB jawans, have been deployed at Jantar Mantar. The survivor reiterated that stopping a peaceful protest at a designated site would be unlawful, and legal action would be taken if her rights are violated.
