Tejashwi Announces Rs 30,000 Women’s Scheme To Begin On Makar Sankranti

RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav announced that if his alliance comes to power, women will receive ₹30,000 annually under the ‘Mai Bahin Maan Yojana’, with deposits starting on Makar Sankranti, 14 January.

He added that as campaigning for the first phase of the Bihar elections concludes, there is a strong sentiment for change across the state, and people are ready to end the government’s two-decade rule.
