SYSTEM TEST: NEET Re-Exam Begins Under AI Surveillance as Security Tightens Across India

The NEET re-examination has commenced across India under an unprecedented security framework, with authorities deploying advanced technology, biometric verification systems, and multi-layered monitoring to ensure a transparent and malpractice-free process. Candidates have started entering examination centres as strict screening procedures are enforced nationwide. In Lucknow, aspirants are undergoing Aadhaar-based biometric verification and four-tier security checks before being granted entry. Mobile phones, smartwatches, electronic gadgets, and unauthorized materials remain strictly prohibited. Examination centres are being monitored through AI-enabled CCTV surveillance, while flying squads, signal jammers, and security personnel have been deployed to prevent any irregularities. Mumbai has introduced special logistical arrangements for candidates by ensuring that all local train services operate on schedule. Authorities have suspended the usual Sunday mega maintenance block to facilitate hassle-free travel for students appearing for the examination. Emergency medical support, help desks, and transportation coordination have also been arranged at major centres. Across Bihar, Rajasthan, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, security agencies and local administrations have established extensive monitoring mechanisms. Question papers are being transported under armed protection, while biometric authentication and identity verification are mandatory at every centre. Sensitive examination hubs have witnessed the deployment of paramilitary forces, including support from central security agencies. Officials have emphasized that every stage of the examination process is being monitored closely to eliminate the possibility of misconduct. Students and parents arriving at centres expressed optimism that enhanced safeguards would ensure a fair examination environment. With lakhs of candidates participating nationwide, today’s examination is being viewed as a critical test of both academic aspirations and institutional credibility. The focus remains firmly on restoring confidence, maintaining transparency, and delivering a secure examination process across the country.
