Special Report: Astronaut Shubanshu Shukla Receives Heroic Homecoming In Lucknow

Group Captain Shubanshu Shukla, the astronaut who recently returned from the Exceom-Four space mission, received a grand and emotional welcome in his hometown Lucknow. The city celebrated the arrival of its pride with music, cheers, and national spirit. Upon reaching Lucknow, his brother warmly received him, after which Shubanshu visited his alma mater, City Montessori School, Verdantkhand branch.At CMS, a road show and a ceremonial welcome were organized where children stood waving the tricolor to greet their hero. A marching band played patriotic tunes as students and teachers celebrated the historic moment. Hoardings across the campus carried messages such as “Grand Homecoming of a National Hero – Gaganyatri Shubanshu Shukla” and “The Sky Was Never The Limit For Our Star.”His parents and relatives were also present, visibly emotional and proud of the honor being showered on their son. The atmosphere was festive, with huge crowds gathering to catch a glimpse of the astronaut who has become a symbol of inspiration for the younger generation. Shubanshu, beaming with joy, expressed his happiness on returning to his city and school. The event highlighted the deep sense of pride that Uttar Pradesh and India feel for their space hero.
