The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has officially begun its centenary celebrations today on the auspicious occasion of Vijaya Dashmi with a grand event in Nagpur. This marks 100 years since the foundation of the organization in 1925, and the celebrations are set to continue for an entire year. Former President Ramnath Kovind and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat are present at the event, making it even more significant.The gathering at Nagpur has witnessed nearly 21,000 swayamsevaks, three times the usual participation, symbolizing the growing strength and unity of the Sangh. Traditional activities like the Vijaya Dashmi parade, weapon worship (shastra pujan), and cultural presentations are being performed with grandeur. The RSS chief’s address to the swayamsevaks is expected to be crucial, as it will highlight the organization’s vision, commitment to discipline, service to society, and dedication towards the nation.This historic occasion reflects the RSS’s journey of becoming the world’s largest socio-cultural organization with millions of volunteers actively engaged in community service, national integration, and cultural preservation.
