An FIR has been registered against RJD MLA Bhai Virendra for allegedly threatening a police officer during polling in Bihar’s Maner constituency. The incident took place on voting day when Bhai Virendra, the sitting MLA and RJD candidate from Maner, was seen in visuals intimidating a sub-inspector who was performing his election duty. The video, aired by ABP News, showed the MLA confronting the officer amid polling activity. According to the complaint filed by officer Bharat Tiwari, the MLA interfered in official work and used threatening language. The Maner seat, considered an RJD stronghold, witnessed heavy polling on that day. The case has now been registered under sections related to obstruction and intimidation of a public servant on duty.
