Religious News: Sea of Devotees Witnessed Across India as Mauni Amavasya Maha Snan Draws Massive Crowds

On the auspicious occasion of Mauni Amavasya, a massive wave of devotion was witnessed across the country as lakhs of devotees gathered at major pilgrimage sites to take the holy dip. From Prayagraj to Varanasi and Haridwar, riverbanks were flooded with faith as devotees braved intense cold to participate in the sacred Maha Snan. The largest congregation was seen at Sangam city Prayagraj, where the Magh Mela is underway and Mauni Amavasya marks one of its most significant bathing days. Scenes from the Triveni Sangam showcased a grand spiritual spectacle, with saints, Kalpvasis, and common pilgrims taking a dip together in the holy confluence. According to official estimates, more than one crore devotees had already completed their ritual bath by morning, and the numbers continued to rise steadily. Despite freezing temperatures, dense crowds were seen lining the ghats from the early hours. Similar visuals emerged from Varanasi and Haridwar, where devotees gathered in huge numbers along the Ganga to offer prayers and perform rituals. The Magh Mela has transformed into a vast confluence of faith, spirituality, and tradition, reflecting the deep-rooted religious devotion of millions on Mauni Amavasya.
