The six-month-long wait for devotees of Lord Shiva has finally come to an end. Amid stringent security and the sacred chanting of Vedic hymns, the portals of Kedarnath Dham were officially opened today following traditional rituals. The atmosphere was electric as thousands of pilgrims gathered to witness the auspicious moment, with the entire valley echoing with chants of “Har Har Mahadev.” Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was present at the ceremony to offer prayers and welcome the first batch of pilgrims. The reopening marks the commencement of the Char Dham Yatra season, with elaborate arrangements made to manage the massive influx of devotees.
