Red Fort Car Blast: New CCTV Footage Reveals Shocking Moments Before Red Fort Car Blast as NIA Takes Over Investigation

A new CCTV footage has surfaced in the ongoing Red Fort car blast case, revealing crucial moments before and during the explosion. The footage, recorded around 6:50 PM on November 10, shows heavy evening traffic and crowded surroundings near the Red Fort traffic signal. Within seconds, a loud explosion is seen shaking the entire area, followed by chaos and panic among bystanders. Forensic teams have confirmed that the blast was powerful enough to damage nearby vehicles and disrupt multiple security cameras. Preliminary reports suggest the use of ammonium nitrate-based explosives, while experts are investigating whether a timer malfunction or panic-triggered detonation caused the blast. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has officially taken over the probe and formed a special 10-member investigation team led by ADG Vijay Shakhare. The team has begun examining case files, evidence, and forensic reports collected from Delhi, Haryana, and Jammu & Kashmir. Investigators are also probing the involvement of radical clerics and medical professionals allegedly linked to a growing terror module. With 12 casualties and ongoing DNA identification of four victims, the Red Fort blast is now at the center of one of India’s most high-profile terror investigations.
