In a major twist to the Red Fort blast investigation, the family of Pulwama resident Umar ,whose name surfaced as the last buyer of the Hyundai i20 involved in the explosion has made a strong denial. Umar’s family claims they never owned or purchased any Haryana-registered car and that none of their children have ever visited Delhi. According to reports, three Pulwama residents, Umar, his brother Amir, and their associate Tariq, have been detained by Jammu and Kashmir Police for questioning. Umar and Amir belong to Sambora village in Pulwama, while Tariq works as a truck driver in the same area. The family insists both brothers are alive, innocent, and currently in police custody. Earlier, authorities had traced the i20 car to Royal Car Zone in Faridabad, allegedly sold to Umar and Tariq. However, the family’s denial has raised new questions about the vehicle’s true ownership and the broader network behind the Delhi blast.
